Monica Orona earned her Art BA from Fresno State in 2017, graduating magna cum laude with a full ride scholarship from the Smittcamp Family Honors College and a solo show with The College of Arts and Humanities Honors Program. She is currently teaching recreational painting classes and is working to earn a Master of Fine Arts at the Laguna College of Art +Design.
